Ghost Town Underground
Many years ago, Jonathan Schwartz a DJ on
WINS radio told a story about abandoned subway
stations. Jaffe was inspired and wrote Ghost
Town Underground. He sent it to Schwartz who
after prefacing with I never do this read things
sent into me but in this case I have to. He
proceeded to read the poem on the air. It was
Jaffe's first poem on the radio.
